Easy to mount in new vehicle
This siren speaker has good volume although not quite as much “cast out” as a full size. That being said, it is much easier to mount on newer vehicles without a lot of free space up front. Body looks to be of high quality and is sealed from moisture. Mounting bracket allows many different mounting options. 1/4”x20 carriage bolts fit bracket slots perfectly so you don’t need to squeeze another wrench in to hold them. (Bolts not included for mounting- only the two into the body from bracket)
All in all, very happy so far.

Very nice, but a bit small. Closer to 1-7/16"
These mounts are very sturdy and well made. My only issue was that they were just a bit smaller than 1 1/2 inch diameter. Some light filing on the inside of the block of the mounts solved this and I was able to use them. The bar I was mounting to measured exactly 1 1/2 inch OD, measured with a caliper.
If your bars are just under 1 1/2 inch, these would be perfect and clamp tight. At or over 1 1/2 inch..... you'll have some metal to remove first.
Once mounted, my lights and mounts have not moved or shifted on a UTV in rough service.

Original and best
This is the original thread by the original manufacturer. It works the best of all that I've tried. My last roll was used up in teaching Boy Scouts how to whip the ends of natural (manila and sisal) rope, another use that this thread excels at. One thing to note with cheaper threads is that they often break at the needle on a Speedy Stitcher. I have not had that issue at all with this thread, even when sewing heavy leather. Very high quality product here.
