Best in its class
Great sound filling any size room when playing acoustic. The 12 string peculiar ring recognizable with brilliant mid and high tones and very deep bass. But the true magic appears when plugged into a PA. The ways this guitar can be played and the purity of the sound are infinite, strong if you want and very mellow and delicate too.
The Expression System, a Fishman Prefix plus, has two unique parts that makes it the best in its class. The PickUp, made with a Co-polimer sensing material that exhibits a sensitivity and dynamic range that surpasses all other known sensing materials. And the Acoustic Matrix Transducer, that is a fully EMI shielded multi-layer sandwich of co-polimer strips that run the length of the pickup. This design allows the pickup to sense the motion of the entire saddle length, providing superb string to string balance, as well as sensitivity to both the strings and top of the instrument.
The second part is the PreAmp. Has a Flip Top battery compartment for easy access; a 9v battery needed.
This PreAmp has an on/off switch that is turned on only when an instrument cable is pluggged into the endpin jack ( a cable is plugged into the guitar). This system allows to use battery power only when needed and keep you from wasting expensive 9v's. This Alcaline battery lasts 160 hours and the low level light turns on when the battery is at 6.5v
A variable NOTCH filter,shelving BASS & TREBBLE, semi-parametric CONTOUR, and BRILLIANCE controls are included for precise tone shaping and fighting feedback. The affected frequency is variable from 40 to 500 Hz.
This PreAmp also has a PHASE reversal switch just in case and a low battery indicator ( it turns on at 6.5v....remember?)
Anything designed and built after this Fishman Expression System can be amazing, but the purity of sound and the fact of being able to shape that sound hasn't ever been match.
For all this reasons , please put a Plus after the 5 stars in the rate of this instrument.
The review indications also wants you to explain what is bad about the product. And of course there is something bad about it. ......when you have to put the instrument down and go to work.

Best phono amp
Very easy to install to transfer the sound from a turntable to your PC or to a console or device with speakers to enjoy vinyl sound. Great design, great price.
