"This Christmas"
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich This is a "must have" in your movie collection; it's one of the finest Christmas movies I've ever seen. I made sure my family got copies for Christmas because of the profound messages. Congratulations to all for a beautiful and loving story; it was touching and believable . . . and yes, though I jumped for joy, I cried a bit, too.
The actors in this film are some of my favorites-- Delroy Lindo, Loretta Devine, Regina King, Mehki Phifer, however, I've now got some additional favorites. You will, too. I was very impressed with Chris Brown's acting-- who knew? And, I love his rendition of the title track "This Christmas"-- he put his 'spin' on it but kept it Christmasy (thank you for keeping it real, Chris). Donny Hathaway (the original artist) would be very proud of the fine job Chris did with this song.
All the characters were very believable family members that any family could relate to; and, throughout the ensuing drama that this family experienced the message was quite clear-- FAMILY FIRST, and WE ARE ALL FAMILY . . . "THIS CHRISTMAS" and always.
