Came in original packaging like he said.. however their was paste smeared almost looked like under the IHS. Pink paste which usually comes from OEM machines and then regular silver paste. However iv since installed it into my motherboard and have not had any issues. Although it did come up below avg on Cinebench 2024 at 2066 points. This is in reasonable age ware and tare.. for a few year old cpu. Overall was a good experience

A compliment to your movie collection!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I know... I know... I still buy physical media! I realize streaming movies or buying movies to store in the cloud is the thing now, but I always worry. What if the server crashes and my movie purchases are lost forever? Is the video quality of a movie streamed; say through Netflix the same as the Blu-ray I own playing in my Blu-ray player?
I just like the idea of owning the movie on physical media, something tangible I can actually hold. Anyway, let's not get too involved in my hang-ups. The Atlantic Oskar Media Cabinet is definitely a compliment to my media room! The dark wood veneer brought a more overall look of elegance. And my collection looks very good in this cabinet. Putting this cabinet together was not so much difficult as it was time consuming... there are a lot of parts.
It is actually the combination of 2 halves placed one on top of the other. This is where I inadvertently screwed up. The instructions direct you to put the 2 halves together while the cabinet is lying on the floor. I was instructed to turn it over, face down with the backside up. This is to allow you to put the backer board on. There is a wider piece used on the bottom of the cabinet when set upright. Lying on the floor with it upside down elevates one end. I must have put a small amount of pressure on the main joint where the 2 halves meet, and crack! The halves gave way! My recommendation would be to completely construct both halves separately, stand them upright, connect the halves, and then attach the backer board. A little more awkward, but greatly reduces the chance of damaging the cabinet.
All in all, I am please with this media cabinet. It is not make of the strongest material (I repaired the damage), but it does look great and holds a ton of media. For the price, you should not expect much. But if you decide to buy it, just take your time and be very careful putting it together.

Durable, Tons of Storage, Crazy Cool looking and unique!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I wanted a good, sturdy backpack for a recent trip to China. After a couple of months of research I landed on the Oakley Kitchen Sink backpack. There are a lot of good backpacks on the market, but this thing was just cool. I have found the Oakley to be extremely durable, but it does have a little more weight than most backpacks. Still, with the extra cushion on the over-the-shoulder straps, even with the bag close to being full it remains comfortable. Very happy with the bag and saved quite a bit on the purchase through EBAY. Highly recommend!

An original and satisfying horror film!
An amazing horror film out of Australia that does not employ "jump scares" or gore - rather it has a slow inexorable tension that builds with each minute watched. A great cast with Essie Davis as Amelia and Noah Wiseman as her 7 year old son Sam. Both of their performances are outstanding with an entourage of great actors surrounding them. If I am not mistaken this is Essie Davis' first foray behind the camera and she does not disappoint.
At the opening of the film, a tragic car accident suffered by Amelia and her husband becomes the catalyst for the deteriorating relationship between mother and son. Amelia's husband does not survive the accident and the profound grief and loss felt by Amelia is so prevalent she is less the mother she should be to her son, and Sam lashes out in the most gut wrenching of ways. But then a new and terrifying element is introduced to the pair in the form of a book.
The formula for the movie is reminiscent of movies like "The Conjuring" or "The Shining" and in my opinion that is just fine if a freshness and originality can be injected into the film. With "The Babadook" originality was indeed developed into the making of this film. Something evil infecting and influencing a family that is already at the brink of collapse increases the feeling of horror. To add to this the atmosphere is foreboding and ramps up a feeling of dread. The creative use of unique camera angles used to shoot certain scenes is brilliant, and combining these elements with great characters make for a movie fans of the horror genre should see.
I consider "The Babadook" to be a very well done horror movie that is somewhat successful at staying with you long after the closing credits.
