Solidly built; great for portable and/or EMCOMM
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I bought the antenna because it was a solid, inexpensive antenna with a proven design that I could make part of my emergency communications package. It is well built and collapsible, making it easy to transport without worrying that it will get ruined if something falls on it. I suspect that if I was to try to build just one I would easily spend much of the cost in just in collecting the parts; not to mention gas for the (at least) two trips to the hardware store.
