Great Portable Soldering Iron But Bad Light Placement

Pros: Well thought out. Heats quickly. Seems to be a sturdy design. Like the Red LED that indicates that the tip is still hot after the power is OFF, its a great safety feature. Cons: Unless you already own the battery and a charger for other Milwaukee M12 items already (like me) the price of the complete set is high. The Clear LED "spotlight" for illumination seems to have been designed on the wrong side of the tip (on the top not the bottom). This is especially noticeable when you use the product in either of the 2 angled positions. Electric soldering pencils and guns always have the light located Below the tip where the light is less subject to be blocked casting a shadow on the tip where it is most needed.

A Better Deal Than You Think - Fit is a Simple Fix

Pros: A very economical alternative to Dremel branded wheels. I've seen many reviews stating that the shafts don't fit their rotary tool (too small). Rotary tools come with 2 collets and all you need do is use the smaller collet with these wheels. I've found that switching out collets is a pain so I upgraded to a Dremel Keyless Chuck which allows easy adaption for shaft diameter and also the use of many small diameter drill bits. The only Con: They don't last very long but 80 last far, far longer than 4 branded wheels for the same price. Again, some reviews are shortsighted.

Good Wheels, Great Value.

Very good construction. Works well mechanically and very smooth operation on hard floors (only kind of floor used at my home).
