Of floor you have. I put it on a wooden platform ( on top of the floor carpet). Ideally placed on a wooden floor.

iphone 7 is a remarkable value in 2020

Other than that - with an A10 processor , it offers 90% of the current feature set, and will work well as a 2nd phone for years to come.
The camera is decent and it works well for both audio and video calls.
