A new clear and compelling narrative.

Great comprehensive history inside, hokey cover outside!
Author has done an outstanding job in researching thousands of old period diaries, reports, and newspapers, in order to find and verify first hand accounts. These are presented in a fashion that is both entertaining and informative, and to dispel many of the anecdotal myths surrounding the legends. Highly recommended!

Excellent compilation/overview of SOG SF operations in Vietnam!
Highly recommended! Documents a series of significant events, Medal of Honor actions, and the how-to-tactics carried out by SOG ground and air teams through out the war. Tons of what Churchill referred fondly to as “tales of derring do”.
Easy to read straight through, or coffee table it and read each chapter or event as a stand alone story.
