Very happy with the Mondial's!
Did a lot of research of Schwalbe tires to find this model. The Marathon Mondial's seem just right for my older but like new '05 Gary Fisher Marlin Genesis MTB hard tail. As advertised, they work well on gravel, dirt and track. Roll well on asphalt too. I wouldn't suggest using them on serious downhill events. Seem very well made and durable, not super light weight, but also not heavy. I'm very happy with them so far and would recommend them (and have done so), to others.

If you like fiction with a strong historical background, I think this is one you're going to want to read. I've been enjoying it a lot!
