It's OK
Putting this together without instructions was tricky. My son has put together probably a dozen Beyblades, but this one was tricky. The one middle section (the larger one) didn't stay on, so during battles the whole thing came apart. We put on the other piece and now it battles pretty decent. So after "battling" with setup of this, eventually it was OK. No instructions, the purple and middle parts are stickers that come with it (not actually on the bey itself). Overall, I may feel I got what I paid for - cheap stuff.
