Not the tv series, but a book you wont want to put down!
Im a huge fan of the series, so of course, when I found out about the books I was desperate to get my hands on them!
I soon learned that the Dexter in the books and the Dexter from the show are not 100% identical. The Dexter in the book seemed...colder, more empty of emotion than the tv version. He's not as perfect at what he does as his tv counterpart. He's more believable.
This book is definitely not the tv series.
It is its own separate, and captivating story.
The characters are the same as the tv versions, yet different, each in their own way.
Jeff Lindsay is a great author, and I love his writing style. I definitely recommend the Dexter books to anyone wanting a good read.
