Works fine.
Use plenty of Teflon tape to ensure a good seal.

Depends on what you use it for
This spool is good because it does not tend to bird nest due to the ratchet mechanism. However the line is quite thin and the unit is strictly light duty.

Nice storage pouch!
It is handy because it can be expanded and also because it has two short straps with rings so things can be clipped off and won’t float away similar to suit pockets.
