A Big Disappointment
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich This film is by the same director as "Vampyros Lesbos" a fun, campy movie we've projected on the wall for Halloween parties. That film is great visually, and riskque without being offensive.
So we bought this "Female Vampire" as it's supposed to be Jess (Jesus) Franco's best work. It's not. It's really just soft core porn with a thin premise of being a vampire film. The production value is akin to a high school film. It's a mystery how he got one film so right and this one so wrong!

A bit goofy, but entertaining...
Think "Shaun of the Dead" meets the "Scooby Doo" movies and that's what you've got here. late night show host James Corden is great as the horny, slacker buddy. Mathew Horne, as the leading man is a bit of a dud, but I hear he's very popular in the UK. Lots of beautiful women round out the cast. Too bad they took the "Lesbian" out of the US title, but thankfully they're still in the film.
