Great little timer that is loud enough to hear in the next room.
I like this timer a lot. The large numbers are easy to read, and the function is as simple as it can be. The beeper alarm is very loud, so it's hard to miss the audible alarm. If you're using it close and don't like how loud it is, a little piece of masking tape over the beeper in the back makes it much more tolerable to the eardrums.
My only complaint is a minor one, the stand that flips down doesn't hold it tightly, so I end up resetting the stand often. This doesn't matter any time or place where I can use the magnet or hang from a hook, instead of relying on it to stand up by itself.
I recommend this timer over other times I have used in the past.

Absolute junk, NOT worth the risk of installing on a vehicle. Tensioner failed at only 5,000 miles!!!
I installed one of these cheap water pump and timing sets on my Subaru Legacy. At only 5,073 miles, I discovered a rattling noise coming from behind the timing belt cover. The timing belt tensioner had already failed, but I was lucky enough to find it before it allowed the cam timing to jump, which would have destroyed the engine.
To the reviewer that said their tensioner is knocking, do NOT wait to replace it!!!! If your cams jump timing, your engine will be destroyed when the pistons slam into the valves.
These parts are absolute junk and should NEVER be installed on ANY vehicle!!! Stick with quality manufacturers because you won't save money when you have to replace parts way sooner than expected or a component fails and leaves you with a multi-thousand dollar repair bill.
Also, you have to pay attention to the style of water pump your vehicle has installed. The style shown here is for '03 to '05 SOHC Legacys only. Subaru changed the style of water pump for the '06 to '08 Legacy SOHC, and that means a different timing belt cover and lower gasket, and it also requires a thermostat housing that will orient the radiator hose correctly.

Just buy one, you won't regret it.
Even though this shifter isn't a top end component, it is a major improvement over any twist shifter. It is well worth the price, and is a great upgrade for my cheap bike. I even used the twist part of the original grip, using some hot glue to hold it in place. If you don't want to do that, don't forget to get new grips.
