A movie that can be watched over and over without getting stale
I am a huge Bogart, and 40s, 50s era movie fanatic. Although I have seen many of Bogie's movies, I have not seen High Sierra, which to movie historians, was Bogart's big break.
I must agree. Mr. Bogart was in command of this movie. His talent of being a gangster with a heart was magnificent , and I don't think a performer without his abilities could have pulled it off. Ida Lupino also does a wonderful job and holds her own against the supporting cast. This is a wonderful early action packed movie from start to finish. The location filming at the end was an added plus and brought realism to the drama. Many of this era's movies used the back drop film which made them look animated.
I highly recommend this movie to anyone, young or old. If you have not taken a look at movies of this era, this is a good place to start. My wife is 20 yrs younger that myself and she found the movie fascinating (I am 50).
A great choice of action, drama, and above all, heart and humanity in a difficult time in American history.

Perfect likeness, lots of accessories
Hot Toys comes through in flying colors.
I'm a big figure collector and have Bern for years. I actually spent sixteen years in the local IPMS as the main figure builder, so I can appreciate a good sculpt and paint work.
I own quite a few Hot Toys Avengers figures, and to my eyes, Captain Marvel is one of the best yet. I got the deluxe version, so there is a cool WW II bomber jacket, a cat, all kinds of LED batteries for lighting up her flamed appendages, the ghost eyed Mohawk head, and five sets of hands.
I'm most impressed with the face and body. The likeness is spot on, and the use of a medium muscle body looks great in the tight, well made uniform. I was surprised that thus figure was much less expensive than most of the other avengers.
Highly recommended.

A must have for Black Widow fans.
Upon opening the box of my Marvel Universe Variant Kia Arts Black widow I was more than happy. I have quite a few of the Kai Arts figures and this is the cleanest sculpt yet. Standing at a tall ten plus inches in height she is the same scale as their Quiet figure and the Appleseed line.
The paint is perfect, two guns, four sets of hands plus a knife and electrical charge pulsed for her wrists.
Although this is in more of a manga, comic book style, it is still a must for any Marvel Black Widow Collector.
