What a Pain!
Overall quality was good. But assembly was a pain, bolt holes didnt line up and instructions were not very well spelled out. Casting was a little sloppy and took a bit of time to get all the casting tabs cleaned up. In short what should have been a 1Hr project turned into a 2 and a half Hr wrestling match. Although I have to say finished product was just what I wanted.

While it seems to be working better than regular filter sand it does not live up to the claim DE-like clarity. The water is clear but does not have the polished look that you get with a DE filter. At roughly twice the cost of regular filter sand if I knew then what I know now I probley wouldnt have bought it.

Plain Jane but well worth the money!
A plane jane but well made and just love the luminous dial.. It is well thought out and built tough this is my new favorite work watch does not seem wimpy in any way. Happy buyer
