Fine Pickup for my Takamine
I bought this for my TAN16C Takamine and it works great with the CTP-2 Cool Tube Preamp in the guitar. The only con was it did not come with a cable to hook up to the preamp but all you have to do is solder a male RCA plug on the cable that comes with the pickup and you in business. I would recommend the M1 passive unless you like a lot of pickup on the body for percussive effect which I know a lot of players do but I did not need that. I get enough of that through the bridge pickup. Being able to blend the two pickups with the cool tube is awesome.

Not a perfect fit
It needed a little adjusting with a file but got it to work and am very pleased with it...looks great on my bass. A couple of the screw hole didn't line up so I just put the screw in where it was..its all covered!

Crown makes a jewel!
We had a 1000 CDI that ran our sound in our lobby, bathrooms and some office's and classrooms in our church and it was left on 24/7 for 13 years and it finally went out on us but replaced a capacitor and it is working again but bought this 2000 to replace it and will run it for another 13 years probably! Crown makes some good amps and I've always had great luck with them!
