Two Universes Collide , With Humorous Results
This type of crossover was inevitable , I suppose . Since Time Warner owns all these characters , it only stands to reason that they would meet in some fashion . This volume is the result of that happening . These are amusing and interesting tales . Adults and children will like them equally well , in my opinion .

This volume could be Marvel's Greatest Superhero Battles Version 2.0
This book is a quick reference guide to a lot of The Hulk's early battles with other Marvel characters . There were a couple of omissions I'd like to have seen included in this volume . Hulk had a notable fight with Giant-Man in Tales To Astonish # 59 , that I feel gets overlooked a lot . Not here . The same goes for Fantastic Four # 12 , the FF's first encounter with The Hulk . Why is this not here ? FF # 25 and #26 are included ( this being the crossover with The Avengers ) . Despite my nitpicking , this is a nice volume , and it's nice to see the older stories on better paper than when they first appeared

Historical fiction combined in an interesting real life backdrop. Enjoyable .
Ron Goulart is a veteran comic book writer , and he delivers a solid story here .The artwork is really crisp . Production levels are top notch , using rich colors and nice paper . It's an attractive package , and a must-have for any Phantom fan .Recommended !
