A classic film that was the cornerstone of model animation that inspired the birth of cgi

Classic comedy
A great comedy that has stood the test of time. The casting is very near perfect with Arthur Lowe as the pompous patriotic Captain Mainwaring, John Le Mesurier as the laid back Seargeant Wilson and Clive Dunn as Lance Corporal Jones who always volunteering and always trying to put it "up 'em!". The supporting cast are superb too, from the grumpy Frazer to the clueless Pike. Series three has such classic capers as "Battle School", Menace from the Deep" and "Sons of the Sea"!

Gentle, easy going comedy
A gentle easy going comedy. Not rib tickling, but amusng enough.
