Solid piece of kit, but a bit quiet.
Overall, I am pleased with the D2 - it is very solidly built, the sound quality is fantastic, it was very easy to set up even without looking at the paperwork, and I think that it looks good.
I use it primarily as a bedside alarm and would have liked the option to remove the carrying handle, especially as it got a little distorted in the original packaging. A minor niggle.
I deliberately chose a model with an inbuilt self-charging battery and on the rare occasions when I have used the D2 in portable mode the battery life has been excellent.
My only significant concern is with the available volume - the specifications (30W (10W RMS)) made me think that this would be very powerful, but I have to turn it up to 90% for normal listening - for comparison, I have my TV at 40%. Fortunately, even at maximum, the sound quality remains good with no distortion, but it would have been nice to have some headroom.

Get a professional finish.
These rollers (and the larger 4" version) are great and make my amateur efforts looks professional. Very economical as you can wash and reuse when using water-based paints, and with oil-based I wrap the roller in cling film between coats.
