Pretty sweet!
This light strip is really bright. I haven't cut it up yet, but apparently you can do that as well. Nice spread of colors and brightness levels. I am actually using this one for accent lighting in my aquarium. I can kick it down low for moon lighting with the included remote. Range on remote is excellent. 7 LEDS had a short somewhere, so if you bend them in an odd angle they turn purple. Cure: Don't bend them in odd angles. haha! Super cheap and works great!

Works great.
These arrived plain copper, un-tinned. Nice and soft for a great crimp. I pull over 300 amps on these and no issue.

Love these cheap heaters!!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I would highly recommend using a controller to keep your temps even, as these guys have a huge temp swing between "idle" and "on".
For example...
My gauge is set to 79 degrees. Water temp is 84 degrees average. Thats off a bit eh? Well it gets worse. The heater will turn on at 76-78 degrees and keep heating to 86 degrees and turn off. Yikes!
So using my Reef controller, and 2 of these guys, i am confident it will be fine. Initial results show 78-80 swing throughout the day, fairly consistant which works for me!
You should replace your heaters as often as you can, to keep a reliable heating system running. These will last me roughly 1 year, and i will switch them out (working or not). Perfect for the price.
