I am a retired electronic engineer, physicist, and inventor, aiming to come out of retirement to do a little more of what I love. I am a family man - married 49 years, four grrreat grandkids. I enjoy Christmas, the music, the decorations, the celebration of God's love through the birth of Jesus, my savior and lord. I live in an OLD house which keeps me a bit too busy fixing things. Ah, but what is that workshop for, anyway? Life is good.

Couldn't have asked for better
I set out to design and build an oven for general home workshop use, for doing things like heat-curing epoxy, where one wants a controlled temperature in the range up to about 100 C = 212 F. In this range, ordinary home cooking ovens don't regulate very well.
This thermostat has the ideal temperature range, and in all respects does a great job. It regulates well. It is easy to set and use. The price was excellent. It seems well made. It was easy to design it into and install it into my oven. I have it controlling a 120 Vac, 6A load.
