Very impressed!
I once used an Elitebook 8530w at a former employer for almost 18 months and I loved it, I must say the 8440p is just as nice, if not a bit nicer with the exception of the Intel video and lack of biometric scanner, however as it is a professional grade executive laptop this is no hindrance. Dell has nothing like it. Lenovo/IBM are a weapon of choice if you will. With regards to HP those who wish to game should probably look for the 8440w or better. I was considering purchasing a consumer grade laptop however nothing came minutely close to the construction and rugged nature of the Elitebook, hence the name, it's pretty self descriptive.
For my purposes however I am thoroughly impressed by the performance but also the price, I highly recommend acquiring one of these if you have the means.
I am most certainly going to purchase the larger 17" model for myself and pass this one on to my wife.
I used to purchase only Panasonic Toughbooks for thier quality & reliability, but Panasonic has not released any notebooks with current processors under $3000, and thier quality seems to have faded over time. So HP Elitebook it is!

Fantastic keyboard pads
They look great, feel great, are excellent quality.My desk has never looked better! I use them for many reasons, one of which is working on small electronics & clockworks where tiny screws and misc. parts would tend to bounce right off my desk and onto the floor. With these pads it has completely stopped that from happening. I'm thoroughly satisfied!
