A classic winner!
The quality is very good - better than I expected. I only expected the 12 Mutual 2-reelers, which were on two discs. The third disc had Gentleman Tramp, a wonderful film about Charlie Chaplin's life and films. I will definitely use that one in the class that I teach on classic comedy films, as well as some of the 2-reelers. The fourth disc on Eric Campbell, Goliath, was very interesting too.

A truly enjoyable classic!
Barbara Stanwyck is amazing. Her youthful vitality - and acting ability - make this film a gem. The rest of the charachters, including of course Gary Cooper, add so much to the enjoyment. Director Howard Hawks pulls it all together - helped immensely by the screeenplay from Charles Brackett and Billy Wilder. The whole result is a true classic!

The Stratton Story
Warm, engaging story. James Stewart is very believable and so is June Allyson. Frank Morgan in one of his best roles: fresh and not stereotyped!
