It's about TIME you got a good deal!

After the clockwork in one of my "antique" signs died, I was dismayed that craft stores wanted $10 or more for a new one. I gave Ebay a try and found that I could TWO of them- delivered- at less than HALF the cost (so that is a FOUR-TIME better deal!) I swapped one out and it's working fine. Plus, I still have a spare for replacement or to create a new clock!

Instrument gets the job done

Stainless steel spatula has a flat end and a slightly scooped shorter end. I was using the flat end of the tool for a totally non-lab use wherein I needed a very small, delicate but durable, easily controlled, smoothly finished, inert, reusable applicator. By preference, I would have likely a little more flexibility in the flat end, but it's doing a good job.

Sleek look- bargain price!

While switch plates are fairly much a commodity product, why pay for a "fancy name" product when there are others that do the job just as well of 90% less. As with all "screwless" plates, it does take a bit of patience to even up the switches and outlets, relative to the plate. This is the same procedure, regardless of source. Instead of a one-piece plate installed with face screws, this- and all screwless plates- are two piece units. A baseplate is first screwed onto the switches and outlets in the gang(s). Then a faceplate is press-fit onto the baseplate, giving a sleek, screwless outward appearance.
