Practical + Funny = Memorable!

My kids, (ages 11, 14, 16), are LOVING these Life of Fred math books - I ended up buying the rest through grade 12. Math had become a chore, and we had actually gotten behind because of it. Mr. Schmidt's philosophy of making math practical and fun is terrific - and he delivers. We are using these books as a supplement for the two older, and as curriculum for my youngest. It has brought laughter, joy, and a freshness to a subject that is critical to know. Truth be told, I enjoy reading them, too.
