Brombeerzeit - The Land Girls DVD

Can't play it in the USA.

I gave this movie five stars in anticipation of loving it. I am familiar with the land army of World War 2 when women assumed the home jobs of the men who were away fighting. I loved the BBC series LAND GIRLS and wanted more so I started researching on line. I was delighted to find The Land Girls dvd with a stellar cast.. I found that copies were rare so I jumped when I found Brombeerzeit. I figured I could deal with the foreign language. What I couldn't deal with was technology. This DVD is incompatible with USA players. So my movie sits, unwatched, luring me occasionally to try again to get the machine and the disc to play together like friends. It is not to be. I will continue my search for a compatible disc.

Beautiful book. Proud to display.

It is a beautiful book to look at. The illustrations sell the book to me before I have read the story. I bought the book for my granddaughter. Neither she nor I have read the story.

Legoland lives

My 8 yr old grandson says it best: It is super cool. He assembled the kit by himself in 5 hours. He loves the LEGOLAND theme and like all Lego products, it is durable and as everlasting as the builder desires.
