Beautiful and interesting films
Beautifully filmed movie set in the past in India about two related women both on a path of self discovery. One time line is colonial India and the other time line is set in more modern times. It is interesting and engaging to watch, but left me with unanswered questions. The second film is about an aging Indian princess living in the past, which was rather sad.

Great movie from an earlier, tamer time.
I never saw this movie, but have always wanted to, so I decided to buy it, and I was not disappointed! Lana Turner is gorgeous and it is a well made, entertaining movie. The subject matter was scandalous at the time it was made. The DVD is in very good shape, and played without problem.

Beautiful classic foreign film
I heard about this movie Umbrellas of Cherbourg for years and decided to finally buy it, and I was very happy that I did! It is beautifully filmed and so colorful! Beautiful to look at and the songs/singing is also beautiful! The story is quite sad but rather typical of real life. This DVD is in great condition/ great film.
