Best set of math problems with very short problem statements
Andy Liu did a great effort to get the problems from a World's best and challenging math problem contest in this 4-book series. I love how tantalizing the problems are. They "read" easy to understand in many cases but the development of a rigorous solution is far from easy often. I love how short the problem statements are and yet how they linger in one's mind throughout the day.... you want to always carry a pen and paper and hand calculator to try further. It forces me to go back to my older high school and college books in some cases to review the material at hand. This I really love.

Reduced my swim time for 2 miles by 25 percent!
I turned 68 in May and have taken about 41 minutes to do a mile and have done 3 mile swims. My legs drag a lot and swimmers and lifeguards recommended I try the pull buoy. It was hard to keep in place between legs but the number of strokes went down a lot as my hips and legs stayed more level. A "Masters Swim Team" and YMCA member suggested the neoprene buoyancy shorts and within a week after reading hundreds of reviews found the Zone3 Originals on eBay by Just Wetsuits Company in AZ had these and i medium size as needed. Fast delivery allowed me to try them last week and swimmers who always passed me 10 or more times in 45 minutes never did! I was amazed! I need to accommodate the less breathes required over the next months or so. I reduced the time for doing 2 miles a couple of times by almost 25 percent!!! What an amazing technology. Swimmers have stopped and looked to see that it was me passing them! Just Wetsuits provided the amazing swim tool professionally.

Intriguing Problems with Narrative Hint Solutions
The problems in this series of British Math Olympiads are excellent - well worded and they are mostly very challenging! I like the narrative-style solutions/hints section for selected years 1975 and later. You get little hints along the way and have to fill in steps as guided carefully by the solution writer. I saw this was about an $80 book and was happy it was much less, in good shape and arrived in timely fashion...
