Doris Day Her Own Story A. E. Hotchner 1976 293 pgs Hardcover Book Club Edition

Worth the read - and then some.

Doris Day was someone I always wanted to know more about. Her recent passing revived that interest and this book based on her own story seemed the perfect place to start. This book seemed honest and didn't appear to hold much back. Interviews with people that were close to her or had worked with her added depth. Good read about a fascinating woman.

Some stars that were influenced by the Ventures

If you are a Ventures fan this DVD is a must. I was so glad to find it on DVD. I had owned in on laser disk but this makes it much easier. The Ventures influenced so many guitar players and it is fun to see some of them get a chance to jam with the Ventures. There are no Ventures left now and I feel blessed to live in a time where thanks to DVDs and records we can still enjoy their music.

Works great replacing my previous similar model

This is old technology. I wanted to replace one I had been using successfully for years but was a little concerned as it has not been manufactured in quite some time. I could have updated my system and looked for something more up to date but decided just to try to replace what had been working so well. Ordered this and am very please as it was exactly what I wanted and worked great. Setup was easy but I did have the supporting software already on my computer and have no idea if it is still available. This unit is exactly want I wanted.
