Where there is Smoke
I used it in a Bachmann Big Hauler (G scale). After reading various articles on how much to use and not getting much success, I was using 12vdc 2A on track, but increased it to 16vdc 3.5A with a different supply and success! While not a lot of smoke it was good enough to see it. Out of the bottle it has a woody smell but very faint when vaporized by the smoker. Very satisfied with the results.

When I first hooked it up the readings were jumping between 0 and 2 amps with no load, I checked the voltage coming from the shunt and it read 0 mv. I put a load of 45 ohms on the 70 volt power supply and the shunt measured 156 mv, which is close to correct but the meter went to 0.00 and would not change even when I changed the load to 30 ohms, the shunt read 233 mv, and the meter still measured 0.00. Apparently it was malfuncting.?.. and since it was cheap, it was not worth paying the postage to send it back.
