A good deal for the mechanically-inclined
Awfully handy to have for most less-than-catastrophic repairs & can save you a small fortune in mechanic's fees if you have basic automotive knowledge.

A superbly executed history of the American Civil War
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich No dry, boring High School History lectures here, but the stories of those who fought the war and their families in their own words, often accompanied by period pictures of the people who did it and scenes of the actual battlefields, roadways and towns where it all took place. This is no John Wayne saga or some political group's pet gripe, but accurate, verified history told with the human touch and without any one side's propaganda. If you can watch this series all the way through without becoming just a little bit emotional, especially if any of your ancestors were involved, you just aren't human.

A good read, as most of the Francis boo...
A good read, as most of the Francis books have been, HOWEVER; "Good Condition" books DO NOT have library stamps, such as, "WITHDRAWN - Boulder Public Library" (and others) throughout, Black Magic Marker blobs on pages and nylon-reenforced tape holding the dust cover onto the book. At best, I'd class this one as, "Readable".
