Good for hunting riffles, not for tactical riffles with extended magazines

I bought this shooting stand hoping to use it with my AR-15 and AK-47 riffles so that I can sight in my scopes. The 30-round magazines in both riffles are too long, making it impossible to use with this stand. The magazines would hit the knob that controls the elevation, or hit the bar below. I now have to buy 5-round magazine for both riffles, still hoping that they would be short enough to be used with the stand. I don't have any hunting riffles, but I can imagine they probably would fit well with this stand, since they don't have a magazine sticking out and interfering with the stand. It is a solid and heavy enough stand that probably would work well for hunting riffles.

Definitely not 3.5 lbs

I installed it on my gen 4 Glock 19. The trigger reset seems a bit shorter and the trigger pull is a bit lighter at about 5.5 lbs, not 3.5 lbs. I think you would have to swap out all the factory springs for reduced power springs and polish every metal parts that touch each other to get anywhere close to 3.5 lbs.
