Ideal for small layouts and Euro style settings.

Good quality Kato unit that can be used as a Euro loco with the correct style passenger Wagons. Plus if you purchase when you find it at reasonable price it is cheaper then the dearer priced similar loco's.

Would like to see more in Ebay stores, as limited sellers and stock exist, prices reasonable.

Perfect model locomotive that is equal in size and design of Kato DE-10 and other 8 wheel types like Atlas RS-1 etc, runs very good on tight curves once carefully run, finding the color scheme that you like is the only problem. I suggest if your using tight track, Kato CV1 as minim size, choose the Hobbytrain G1000, G1700 series as your first choice and any of the 8 wheel versions made by Kato/Hobbytrain, ideal match to Kato pocket-line sets.

Ideal for making a small shunter/switcher loco using either sheeting for body or using Atlas shell n cab assemblies and plastic sheeting for areas cut to widen shell assembly to close shell. Also if you want to make a small switcher purchasing Kato Part 11- 404 will make for a interesting loco. I used two SD60/90 Atlas cab assemblies glued together n cut to suit the width, adding a Kato 11-404 on roof and some plastic sheeting on side to suit.
