Worth watching despite the excessive profanity
I believe that the movie attempts to portray the life and trials of tank crewmen. That is its significant accomplishment, in my opinion. The gratuitous use of profanity and the frequency did not enhance my perception of the reality but detracted from it a great deal.
Overall, a very good story with enough human-interest angles to keep the viewer on edge and wanting more.
As a mature adult, I do not consider excessive profanity as adding to the realism of the picture. I put up with it, but I can see how the film could have been made much better without every third word being a swear word.
