Legend of Luke
This book was the first I read of the Redwall series. It is an exemplary book showing off Jacques's mastery of storytelling. The book draws you in and never lets you go with the racing adventure, the maddening death and destruction, and ultimately peace. I would recommend this series to anyone and i would especially recommend this volume in the Redwall history.

Bioshock 2
Bioshock 2 is a great game. It maintains the core gameplay mechanics from the first Bioshock, while giving the twist of dual wielding plasmids and weapons. I would love to give this game an excellent rating because it really is that good, however, the game seemed more of an extension from Bioshock 1 instead of its own game. The story for Bioshock 2 is told from the Big Daddy point of view. It is set 10 years after the events of Bioshock 1, and the city of Rapture reflects that time passage. I won't go into story specific details, due to spoilers, but be reassured that the story is very gripping and engaging. The special edition is loaded with extras. The LP soundtrack is a nice touch to the timeframe of the game and it has really good sound quality for a LP. It comes with a hardcover art book that documents the concept art behind the game. It also includes a CD of the soundtrack which personally like very much. Finally it includes three posters of Rapture's propaganda which when placed under blacklight reveal hidden messages. Overall the special edition of the game, in my opinion, should be reserved for fanboys because of its hundred dollar price tag. The game itself is highly recommended. Thanks for reading.

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution (Xbox 360, 2008)
The Civilization games have always been a pleasure to play. This one is no different. It takes the classic Civilization gameplay and "revolution"izes it for the Xbox 360. From what I've seen it plays well with the AI being very challenging at the harder levels. Unlike many other games, the AI does not "cheat." I have often had the problem of the AI manipulating certain situations in its favor to either keep itself from losing or to gain an advantage. I have yet to see that in Revolution and I've played it for about 14 total hours. With that in mind, the game itself will eventually become boring due to the lack of advanced mechanics and gameplay. Since I originally played the PC versions of Civilization I am a bit prejudiced when Revolution plays differently than what I was previously used to. Overall I give this game an A- for easy to learn mechanics and challenging "smart" AI. The only cons I've seen is that it lacks the complexity of the PC versions.
