Zoey Saldana is a great actress, the plot was not up to her standards.
It is written for a female audience.
Military people may laugh at loud at some of the goings on, but it is entertaining.
Daylight attacks on bases, due to better filming opportunities for the makers of this film, less than fit operators, etc.
Significant plot armor for the main characters
Great performances by the cast, just not that realistic situations and characters.
At least they didn't show all the raping that would occur in real life.
