Well worth reading
This is not a book to be used for reference. Start at the beginning, even though the first couple of chapters may have much information you already kniew and then read through to the end.

Excellent
The book fills a gap in the history of Barrow and the Furness area, I recommend that anyone interested in this subject also reads the biography of H.W Schneider by A.G. Banks as the two books compliment each other.
