Sound quality could be improved
Broke my much loved AIWA headphones.
Their sound quality was excellent but a short lead.
Like the 1.8m lead on these Pro Signal Stereo headphones but sound quality mediocre really.
I need a box between yes and no!
Whatever...Much better than sticking ear buds in your ears!
Can't complain about the price but you gets what you pay for...

Excellent gadget
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich My Sony Walkman 18GB mp3 player became impossible to update when Microsoft withdrew XP.
Sony didn't update their software so I was left with an (expensive) lemon.
Tried Redmango mp3 players but they had various problems.
This Evo player seems to be the answer to my simple requirements!
It's successfully playing in random mode which I prefer.
The Sony Walkman did that as well until it became obsolete
(Thank you Microsoft/Sony!!)
And the Redmangos would only play the latest tracks added even in supposed random order!
The Evo device is looking very promising so far.
But I do find the battery indicator difficult to interpret.
Even Ross Elliot has trouble there.
I took photos of the indicator (before and after charging) and sent them to Ross.
I asked Ross to to tell me which was the fully charged status?
Even he got it wrong, identifying the nearly empty battery as full.
However Ross reassures me that it will do no harm to the battery to keep it topped up.
And that is what I shall do.
Lots of features on this excellent device.
I recommend this player.
Especially so since it is 'Microsoft proof' and does not rely on Sony's awful software to keep it updated.
