Just like original equipment
Price was considerably less than John Deere original equipment. Package arrived on time with no damages. Wheels fit exactly with no wobble or play. Very good replacement product.

Spur gear for John Deere walk behind mower
After 22 years of mowing my lawn, the left wheel spur gear for my self propelled, John Deere walk behind mower failed. Teeth had been worn off in one quadrant of the gear. (How? I have no idea.) I was prepared to buy a new mower, and then thought to dig a little deeper and started to dismantle the rear wheel drive components. That is when I noticed the worn off teeth on the spur gear. OK, either buy a new $500 mower, or check ebay for a replacement gear. To my surprise, I found one for less than $8 on ebay, including shipping, so I ordered it. Installed it. It fit exactly. Tried it out. SOLVED MY PROBLEM. The mower functions perfectly. Good for another 20 years, I hope. I saved $492. Thank you so much for stocking this obscure part.
