good connector
i have some of these connectors that I got from harbor freight and they never held when I crimped them but I had no trouble getting these to stay on the wire

bad reception
it has the features that I want but the antana connection is not very good. when ever I plugged the cable in the whole way I did not get good reception some stations that I have no trouble picking up on other radios would not come in clear. if I pulled the cable out and held it against the side of the hole then they would pick up. I was able to make it a little better by putting a piece of alum. foil in the hole but it was still not that good. I was looking for a cheap radio for an old truck so I took a chance.
