Many improvements over the 808.
2 von 7 finden das hilfreich I was initially disappointed to learn I could no longer get repair parts for my trusty Hakko 808. I also had concerns about ordering from Japan, but to save a $100, I went for it, and was glad I did. The FR-301 came much faster than I anticipated, and although I could not make use of my old 808.tips, the new desoldering tool is a breeze to use. The many improvements include on/off switch, easy temperature setting and easier tip changing. It even comes in a blue and yellow color theme in support of a free Ukraine.

Perfect mini-boom mic stand
Very useful for multiple micing applications where a full size stand gets in the way.
