John Deere 1924 Model D tractor
I am completing a set of tractors and implements my father used during his many years as a farmer. I know he had a JD Model D tractor. I wasn't sure of the particular year he had, but both my mother and father were born in 1924. I think this one is perfect for my collection. I already have the Waterloo Boy. Although this is similar, this tractor is definitely different. Ertl does a wonderful job in its representations of tractors from different eras. The tractors are very sturdy for child play or for collectors. They are made of almost 100% metal. Some smaller parts might be made from durable plastic. This tractor is made of all metal.
