Fitment
Looks guys. If you own a SKS. AK or AKM series rifle. And your trying to modernize them with after market products. Do not expect a simple drop in installation.
I purchased this rail for a Chinese SKS that I’ve owned for 25 years. Just trying to bring it into the 21st century. So here’s the installation... first the rear sight removal, a punch a hammer and it’s off. Do your self a favor YouTube it, simple, to easy. Do your research. Next use the roll pin that’s supplied. Line it up punch it in done. Now comes the Fitment. Take the dust cover and main spring off. Get a metal file. Work the lower tangs wiping the filings clear of everything. Keep filling until you the pins slide without binding. Touch up with flat black paint, let dry. Reinstall mainspring and dust cover. Use either pin you desire. I chose the Chicago pin.
Overall I feel it’s a fantastic product easy to install. Nice quality. But most of all a sturdy mount.

Great product
I absolutely love these belts. They are the only belts that I put on my cars. The only problem, is that not to many people carry them you have to hunt them down. They are well worth it they run cool and quite. I've been using them for over twenty years now. Don't bother with the cheap junk out there use the Gatorback and drive with peace of mind.
