Simple and efficient
Easy to read (important for me) and waterproof to 10 atm (important for work). A bit retro, like me :-)

Eminently practical
This is the 3rd Lumibrite watch I have bought. The 1st served me well as a miner, in dirt dust, and water. It took all the punishment a mine could hand out, but after 7 years of abuse it was pretty battered and I bought a new one for my new job on surface. Again, comfortable and reliable but I left it at the home of an elderly person with dementia who thought it was his. I didn't have the heart to claim it back, so bought another one.
The battery lasts a long time but can be expensive to replace if you want to maintain the 100m waterproofing (the seals are expensive). All in all, a tough watch which you can easily forget you are wearing.
