Cornwell on form.
Superbly crafted story in a different timespan.Great characterisation and Tudor London brought to life in a most colourful way.More of the same,please.

Lovesey in great form.
Yet again Peter Lovesey comes up with a superb thriller,with twist and turns which continue to the end.Diamond is a superbly crafted character,possessing a flair for natural instinct.

Goodbye Montalbano.
A fitting end for the Montalbano series,with the usual twists.The characterisation is very good,although we’ll never know the fate of the Inspector’s relationship with Livia.
