The system works well. The flow rate is low, but theoretically it can polish my 600 gallons of fuel in 24 hours or less.
The main advantage of this system is that it gives me confidence I am not going to have a dirty fuel problem when I take my boat off shore. I run the system for 24 hours before I depart. After running the system for the first 48 hours I removed the filter, and found just a few specs of trash so I was sure I would not have a fuel problem on my 5 hour run off shore. It would be nice to have a pressure gage between the pump and the filter so that you could see if the filter is starting to clog, but for the low selling price of this system I cannot complain. (I think the pump discharges into the filter rather than places a suction on the filter.) I set up the plumbing so that the P510MAM takes suction on my generator fuel suction with ball valves so that I can select generator or fuel polisher, and the discharge is at the other extreme end of the tank. In theory this arrangement means that I am filtering most of the fuel. Recommend purchase.
