POOR QUALITY FAN CLIPS
To begin the first two clips snapped because the material is too brittle. The material is not correct for this application.and should be softer but strong with good elastic properties. I had to wrap the additional fan clips that I was using in paper towelling and then heat the towelling with a hair dryer to soften the material a bit. I had one original fan clip that came with the fan and its material properties are very different from the fan clips sold here
