I've tried other 6' fast charging cables (they were pretty good). This one out performs them all
I am a retired computer IT consultant. I owned and operated my own IT business for 30 consecutive years (I was in business when MSDOS 3.1 was the “Cat’s Meow”).
I have a visual/digital ammeter that displays how many watts of energy a digital device draws when sitting at the end of a wire. During the past several years I have purchased at least 10 FRiEQ Hi-Speed 6 Ft Nylon Braided USB Charging cable. I also own an Anker Elite-Dual-Port-24W-USB-Travel-Wall-Charger which is a high output fast charger. Basically the FRiEQ cable is a pretty darn good cable. I’ve even given a few of these as Xmas gifts (along with the above Anker charger)
My digital meter says my Android S7 draws 5 to 6 watts through the FRiEQ 6’ cable (this sincerely pretty good by most standards). Know that most wires that come with a device may seem thick & heavy duty but they consist of only a small amount of wire of which is coated with thick rubbery insulation as to make them appear as having a lot of wire. Mostly you only can squeeze 2 to 3 watts of power down this type of wire (2-3 watts on an S7 is a very slow charge rate). It does not matter how large of heavy duty your charger is,,, a thin metal wire will always limit the amount of current that gets to the device.
I then came across this Ebay ad for this “Micro USB Cable, Eversame 3 Pack 6Ft”.
This cable appeared to be OK, and their marketing/advertising seemed come across as the seller sincerely having a higher quality product for an inexpensive price. I was in need of a few extra cables so I figured if its statistics didn’t stand up the FRiEQ cable I would return it, and/or put out an accurate review. I took a chance and ordered the 3 pack. I was totally surprised by its’ electrical performance as well as how it felt in the way it easily coiled in my hand. My digital meter now says my Android S7 is drawing 9 to 10 watts andddd, their marketing video displays this cable lifting & swinging what appears to be a full 5 to 7 gallon jug of water, w/o it stretching or breaking.
The bottom line is: A quality high output charger, as well as the amount of real wire in a cable is what determines the difference between a super fast or creepy slow charge. There is not much else left to say except that this 5 * review speaks for itself.

A great product,,, Super Bright and makes deep-cycle use of Rechargeable AA batteries (where other mfg do NOT)
I live in Seattle & ride year 'round appx 2k miles year and I keep a Front & this rear flasher on during Daylight, night time, Rain or Shine. Some products do not play well with AA Rechargeable batteries which are 1.38 volts fully charged. This bright 1 watt light will keep flashing even when both AA batteries reach 0.86 volts (ea). At this point they are not very bright but it's a hell of a lot better than having a light go completely off when the voltage drops to 1.18 volts (as several other lights tend to do). After I periodically run this light 18-30 hours (@3-7 hours per day) the batteries measure 1.88 volts ea and this is generally where I choose to recharge them (and they are still quite bright).
Planet Bike's old 1/2 watt light would get 40 hours before the bats would get to 1.88 volts. You would think that since it is almost twice as bright that it's timeline performance would be 50% less (this is not the case). This new 1 watt light has superior technology over the old 1/2 watt & is almost twice the bright but it's run time is 25% less than the old one. If you visually compare the old with the new there is a shocking difference in brightness. To be clear,, all my tests and statistics are when the light was on "Flash Mode" ONLY.
To top it off this is an Ebay grand bargain. Amazon is selling this exact same model for $28.50 (get'em while they last) .
