Peaceful living

A real man who stepped up when it counted.
We liked the portrait of a man's man that the writer gave the central character. Yes, he is flawed like natural man, but rises above his nature to overcome his addiction to alcohol and finds his purpose in life through his spiritual quest. It is an above average performance by Pierce Brosnan. Our favorite part is his surprising personal testimony given while on the witness stand in court as to why he is fit to have custody of his daughter Evelyn. This is overall a very good movie.

Required reading for a Christian intellectual
Book well worth the reading for anyone interested in the classics.
